About

Locator Bar Color Checker is a small, free set of fan-made tools for MinecraftJava Edition. Type a username or a UUID and the site tells you what the game worked out but never displays.

What the tools do

• The Locator Bar color checker turns an account UUID into the marker color the game draws, and shows the raw value it came from.
• The UUID lookup converts a username into a UUID (and back) in the dashed, undashed and int-array formats.
• The guides cover turning the bar on or off, hiding from it, its range, and what Bedrock does differently.

How it works

Colors are calculated in your browser using the same steps the game uses. Usernames are resolved through Mojang's public profile API. There is no account, no login and no tracking of what you look up.
